St Augustine Visitor Information Center
For half a century, visitors to St. Augustine have made the St. Augustine/St. Johns County Visitor Information Center their first stop upon arriving in the Nation’s Oldest City. Commonly known as the “VIC,” the center offers information on special and cultural events, brochures and guidebooks for the area’s attractions, clean restrooms, a gift shop.
In addition, the VIC is staffed with friendly fully licensed tour guide hosts who gladly share information on attractions, museums, tours, accommodations, restaurants and unique shopping opportunities. The VIC is where a St. Augustine vacation begins, whether you plan to stay a day, a weekend or an entire week.
The Visitor Information Center (VIC), located at 10 S. Castillo Drive (32084) is open 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day), from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adjacent to the VIC is the Historic Downtown Parking Facility, a 1,200 car facility that has proven to be visitors’ favorite location for quick-and-easy parking. Open 24 hours a day every day of the year the parking facility is convenient to St. George St. and San Marco Ave. as well as the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.
Parking at the facility is $12 per vehicle per entry. Current handicapped permits are honored and can park for no charge. Office hours at the HDPF are 7:00am to 9:00pm. For more information or to purchase permits, call the office at 904.484.5160.
