There should be insurance money..If she had insurance
Wow that's effed up
You will need to hire an attorney unfortunately. Or take her to small claims court.
They wanted to re open but we're having problems with the landlord. I'm not sure if they didn't have insurance or what. I know that nothing has been done there and the business location is still boarded up with no signs of anyone working in there. There is a lot of people asking this same question, I've heard talk of a class action. But, they lost everything as well so I'm not sure what will happen. It's a sad situation for everyone! Amber is a wonderful person and a lot of people on the island were devastated and unable to reopen. It's just seems to be a tough spot for everyone to be in. I had things consigned there too and it was my fav consignment shop! ☹️
Just checked out this woman's page......she's got ISSUES!!
People are just nasty! If you are speaking of me, what type of issues do I have?? Huh? I work for a living for most of my life, I have kids in college, great mom, college educated. Love my family. Yes, I hate Trump. I don't like people who steal from others. I just want this lady to come forward is all. Is that so bad?? She screwed a lot of people!!!! Should she get away with it??? Dang people come on now!!
There are two sides to every story, if I were an admin, this post would be deleted
Items put in parking lot. People rummaged thru it.
Items had sewerage on them.
The poor shop owner lost everything. Lots of people lost. Did a few clothes have that much value being CONSIGNED. Maybe they would not have even sold and been discounted or donated! I have consigned and it never amounted to that much. Why would anyone feel so moved to verbally trash a local shipowner that lost far more!?!?
Just up and vanishing was the mistake. She knew who had stuff in her store, she could have called and let them know what was happening, offer them to pick up their (potentially soiled) goods, or something. It's not about the single $48, but multiply that by the 50 people who did have stuff there. None of them know if their stuff was sold, ruined, or taken with her to a new location. They deserve answers.
Regina Hightower-Wheelis I pm'd you since this swip swap can get ridiculous
I use to go in that shop Summer did you work there ?
I just find it utterly appalling that people think it's ok to take from others and be ok with it. Sad
Like the hurricane took her business?
Isnt ahe married to a police officer
It is unbelievable that people are actually bashing someone who lost everything.
Do you think she stole everything NOOOOOO it was ruined. BY A HURRICANE
Maybe the way this individual went about it was incorrect but to take to social media.
I get it she owes you $48 bucks If it wasn't that damn important and you don't need it. Why post it on here. And if you know so many other people in the community then by now someone should have the intelligence to seek legal matters. BUT you don't need $48.00 bucks. Get over yourself
You needed attention
I will pay you the $48
So do we think this lady lost her living for a while? Do we think she doesn't feel guilty or bad for what happened?? Do we think her income is not what it was? Do we think Small Claims Court would be better than social bashing???
And we worry about kids!!!!!
She is doing fine
Please take my money!
So a simple apology would suffice.
I doubt that
The hurricane was last fall. If you were that upset why not look into it immediately? Take her to small claims court, but shut up. You have made yourself look very silly today. Administration: Remove this post.
